Split screen should give consistent rewards. Track length and difficulty should be taken into consideration. I don't need to worry about spending upwards of 700k just to get one single stupid car I don't have. Yeah, I'd have to build up money again for another Blind Box, but I at least know that there'll be a high likelihood that I will get that car back in the future. It'd also push me more towards scrapping cars for gears. I feel that alone would be a massive improvement to the unlock system while still maintaining the random gacha feeling this game was going for. But once you have all the Commons, you'll start getting repeat Commons, with Rares and upwards still being harder to get. If you get a Rare, it's a Rare you don't have yet. So if you get a Common, it's a Common you don't have yet. Mostly maintain the rarity rate of gaining cars. I thought, "Why can't every rarity be like this?" Maybe what the devs could do is tweak things a bit. What I found interesting was that STH car unlocks were actually prioritized via giving you cars you hadn't obtained yet. The gacha unlock system is essentially soulless padding. Doesn't matter the track, doesn't matter the difficulty, it's all just a static, uninteresting grind, rendering a lot of this game (longer tracks, higher difficulties) completely pointless. 50 for winning an offline race, 70 for winning an online race. The unlock system feels cumbersome and unrewarding. my first day of early access), a single race mode, time trial, a basic 2-player splitscreen mode, a barebones online multiplayer mode, and the ability to make custom tracks. We have a short singleplayer campaign (I finished it on like. And it boils down to this game just being utterly sloppy and unfinished. The game was built with the developers knowing what they wanted it to be.Ī lot of people here have been expressing a lot of frustration over the exact same points, over and over, new threads being created just to echo what so many had already stated. ![]() But most importantly of all? The grind is fun. You find yourself tiring of working towards one thing? Take a break and work towards something else. You grind and grind and grind, and there's even an element of randomness with some drop chances being super low, but you're still always working towards something. The Monster Hunter series is an excellent example of this. It's also about providing a satisfying system to keep players playing. A well-designed game at such a high price isn't just about pumping out as many hours as possible. ![]() see, I would agree with this if it weren't for the fact that a majority of those 255 hours (even more with the luck I had) are not even remotely rewarding. But the fact that you have to play for (lets say 255 hours) isn't a problem since we paid quite a bit for the game. I do agree there need to be some changes in career mode to keep the playing interesting. I paid 50 euros for it so I would like to keep playing for a reasonable amount.
